Mr George Ely

George was born in 1815.  George's father was Mr Joseph Ely and his mother was Mrs Lucy Starling.  His paternal grandparents were Mr James Ely and Alice Went. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Samuel, Charles and Harriet.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 56 in 1871.
